| Last November, my turbos blew. Turned out debris clogged up the pin-head sized oil feed hole. While the engine was out and waiting for the turbos rebuild, I opened up the engine to inspect the bearings. My last rebuild was during the fall of '09 after a blown HG. I found some wear on the main bearings during oil starvation of a pinched oil filter gasket. These had about 10k miles.
This time, the main and rod bearings looked brand new. But I replaced them anyway since they are cheap. Assembling the bottom end. JE pistons and Pauter rods.

Setting the thrust.
Set thrust to 0.006 as was before. A little on the loose side, but it's good for the power level.
 All assembled.
The SS Pentroof manifolds got all stained from the header wraps. I gave up on trying to sand and polish them for lack of patience.
 Turbos with new CHRA.
